Result of EGM and directorate change
ClearDebt Group plc (the 'Company') announces that, at the Extraordinary General
Meeting of the Company held today, all resolutions were duly passed.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Leon as
Financial Director with immediate effect. Anthony Leon replaces David Shalom who
is resigning as a director, also with immediate effect.
Anthony Jack Leon, aged 68, is a chartered accountant and a former partner of
Binder Hamlyn with whom he spent 15 years as managing partner of the Manchester
office. Since 2001 he has been a non-executive director of Central Manchester
and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust and is Chair of the
Audit Committee. Between 1995 and 2001 he was Chairman of the Mancunian
Community NHS Trust.
